Where to ride and local clubs

Thirroul is situated in the most unique and visually spectacular region on the east coast of NSW. Nestled under a 400m bushy escarpment and just metres from the beautiful coastal beaches. Riding is plentiful for road or off road enthusiasts. Where ever your ride may take you, you'll be guaranteed the best views in NSW. Come into the shop to ask where the latest tracks are situated.

Topographical Maps covering the south coast and its environs (Bulli, Appin, Bargo, Wollongong, Otford, Port Hacking, Nowra, Kangaroo Valley, Royal National Park, Nowra State Forests) are available to purchase. Free maps of the Illawarra Cycle Way are available and on display. NPWS area maps are also available.

Mountain Bike Trails of the Southern Highlands

Produced in 2007, this superb 1:25000 scale map shows all the tracks in the southern part of the Southern Highlands along with information on riding in the area. Wingello and Penrose State Forests are included on the map. Wingello State Forest shows the purpose built singletrack (currently 12km) along with the route of a number of way marked trails in the forest. A larger scale map (at 1:15000) of the main Singletrack area is included as an insert on the map.

Price: $12 per copy - Purchase at Wild Horizons

ATTENTION DH MOUNTAIN BIKERS!....Please respect our natural bushlands, stay on the obvious trails and do not create new tracks as erosion can be fatal in this area.
